MILO® Building Young Champions in the
1st Asian Youth Games Singapore 2009
(Singapore, wownewsasia.com, 18 May 2009) The People’s Association Constituency Sports Club Council launched the Community Sports Festival (CSF) 2009 last Sunday, 17th May 2009 at the North West district. Nestlé Singapore and MILO® are proud to be the major corporate sponsors for this 3-month long festival, held across all five districts in Singapore with the aim to attract over 50,000 participants to make friends, foster community bonds, and have fun through sports activities.

Held at Innova Junior College, Dr Vivan Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports and Adviser to Holland-Bukit Timah Grassroots Organizations launched the CSF 2009 with other guests including Dr Teo Ho Pin, Mayor, North West District and Adviser to Bukit Panjang GROs and Nestlé Singapore’s Managing Director, Mr Suresh Narayanan

With its long-term objective of championing youth sports development in Singapore, MILO® is also proud to announce its official sponsorship for the upcoming 1st Asian Youth Games Singapore 2009 at the event where its latest initiative to engage youths and Singaporeans in celebration of AYG Singapore 2009 was

With well-wishes penned by Guest of Honour, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and ther other VVIPs, MILO® will be launching ‘AYG LIVE! in Campus 2009’, a school contest organised to encourage a sporting culture amongst the youths in Singapore. Members of the public are also encouraged to participate in the second phase of its initiatives.
