The winners of WAWards^® 09 are revealed

SingPost the biggest winners with 3 major awards

(Singapore, wownewsasia.com, 9 Jul 2009) After months of voting, the winners of the WAWards^® 09 are finally revealed!

Judging on the creativity, impressiveness and effectiveness of the entries, hundreds of votes were received from industry professionals, marketers as well as business owners since February 2009 via the official WAWards^® 09 webpage. SingPost has emerged as the biggest winner with their wins in the Best Mascot and Best Print Collateral categories. The winning entry of Best Mascot category, SingPost ‘Chinese Zodiacs’ with 12 lovely characters brought out the Lunar New Year spirit, was also the most popular choice amongst the 40 entries, therefore rightly crowned as ‘WAWards^® 09 Best of the Best’. “I’m very happy to be accepting this honour. This is a result of hard work from the SingPost & AdWOW! teams. Thank you all for voting!” marketing manager of SingPost said enthusiastically. Another campaign from SingPost – a series of festive greeting cards titled ‘Celebrate Love, Joy, Peace & Cheer’ won the best Print Collateral award.

Fueled by acrobatics and athletic spirit, YEO’S isotonic drink brand H-TWO-O ‘The Ultimate Move’ took Gold in the Best Campaign category. AdWOW’s ‘WOW WOW Angel Christmas Greeting Card’ that received tremendous response when the customised gift was rolled out 2 years ago, was also a popular choice in the Interactive Design category for which it received the most votes.
